1. Keep Your Lemmings Safe

The best way to do this is to look at the path ahead of you and check the possible threats to your crew. You should then build safety measures accordingly. You won’t be able to do this right away since most restoration quests will require 12 Lemmings at a time. You will have to progress through the levels first and rescue more Lemmings, so you can put them to work. This is one of the reasons why you cannot afford to lose any of them during a level. The more survivors you have at the end of the level, the faster you will be able to finish all the restoration quests for a certain planet. When you complete all the restoration quests, you will be able to move on to the next location.
3. Don’t Be Stingy On Boosters
Boosters are different perks that help make your life easier. They cost gold, but they are definitely worth it. All boosters help you in some way. The best one, though, is the Trap Disable. It removes a random trap from the level. Even though you cannot choose which trap to remove, having one less thing to worry about can help secure that perfect run. You can also choose to purchase the extra Lemmings if you are not confident in your ability to get through to the end of a level. Extra Lemmings will give you a bit of wiggle room when it comes to mistakes.
4. Think Before You Build
The game allows you to instruct Lemmings to build certain items. When you give the command, it will stay on the screen until the Lemmings get started on it. There are times when you realize you didn’t really want that specific item. When that happens, just tap on the command on the screen and you will be able to refund the energy spent on it. One thing you should remember when giving these instructions is that you have to cancel the command before the item is completed. Once the job is done, you will need to sacrifice a Lemming in order to delete the object. You also won’t receive an energy refund if you decide to destroy an item that has already been built. Make sure you decide quickly whether or not you really want something done to avoid wasting resources.
5. Trial And Error Method
If you are having trouble with a particular level, do not be afraid to try different things. The only thing that matters is that you make it to the end of the level with all of your Lemmings alive. You don’t get any bonuses for completing a level faster or if you spend less energy. You also don’t get penalized if you take too long to get to the end. That is why you should not hesitate to try different solutions until you make it through the level with everyone alive.
6. Unlock More Tribes
Tribes are the equivalent of skins in the game. The are purely cosmetic but it is fun to collect all the different Lemmings and watch them play. In order to unlock new tribes, you will first need to earn a lot of gold. Gold is used to purchase eggs. These eggs are the ones you use to unlock new tribes. When you unlock a new tribe, you won’t be able to choose which ones will appear. They will automatically be mixed in with the other Lemmings, so you get to see all of your skins applied at the same time.
7. Manage Your Energy
In Lemmings energy is a precious resource, primarily because you can’t really do anything without it. You can have a maximum of 60 energy at any given time. It takes around 90 minutes to earn 20 energy, and that’s a long time if you’re just sitting and waiting. This is why you should make sure you don’t waste any of your energy on unnecessary commands. There are ways to replenish your energy faster, but they will cost you. You can pay 900 gold for a full refill. We don’t recommend it, though because that’s a lot of wasted gold. If you can afford to spend real money, an in-app purchase worth $6.99 will give you unlimited energy for 2 straight hours. It’s still a pretty steep price, so make the most of it if you decide to buy it.
